Our Mission
Our family roots in the Philadelphia community begin in the early 1900’s in the historic Italian Market. Now almost 100 years later we are growing more than ever! In 1989 we expanded our wholesale operations, and now serve the region’s top restaurants and institutions. Along the way we’ve develop some very deep relationships with many of Philadelphia’s charitable organizations such as MANNA and The Ronald McDonald House. Giving back is in my family’s DNA.
In early 2019 we acquired our first blueberry farm. A One hundred- and five-acre farm in the heart of The Blueberry Capital of The World, Hammonton, New Jersey! After our first official season, it became clear we could not do this alone. We needed individuals that shared our passion and would support us in working the land as a team. Our vision to support our inner-city youth led us to reach out to local school districts.
An opportunity to provide seasonal jobs, with the intention to establish on-site learning and teaching of commercial farming, agriculture, packing, distribution and daily maintenance. Creating a network of Farmers and Educators to provide opportunities for local youth for our region and beyond.
